Protecting What Makes Utah Home.
Utah is growing, and with that growth comes a responsibility to protect the things that make our state such an extraordinary place to live.
For Kirk, that means taking practical action to protect the Great Salt Lake, improve air quality, conserve our water resources, and make smart investments that prepare Utah for the future.
Kirk helped secure $66 million to protect the Great Salt Lake and has supported continued efforts to put more water into the lake, protect its ecosystem, and address the environmental and economic consequences of a declining lake.
He's also worked to improve the air Utah families breathe. Kirk sponsored legislation addressing industrial pollution from the Great Salt Lake area that contributes to winter inversions along the Wasatch Front.
Kirk believes Utah doesn't have to choose between a strong economy and responsible stewardship. With smart planning, innovation, and accountability, we can protect Utah's quality of life while continuing to create opportunity for generations to come.
