For Taxpayers
Utahns work hard for their money. Kirk believes they should keep more of it.
Income Tax Cuts
Keeping More Money
In Your Pocket.
Families and businesses, not government, know best how to spend the dollars they've earned. That's why I've consistently supported lower taxes, responsible budgeting, and policies that put more money back into the pockets of Utah taxpayers.
Since I joined the Utah Senate, we've reduced the state income tax six years in a row. Today the rate stands at 4.45%, an 11% reduction that returned $101 million to Utah taxpayers this year alone.
I also supported reducing the gas tax by 15%, limiting unnecessary property tax increases, and increasing price transparency so Utah families know exactly what they'll pay at the register.
Fiscal responsibility isn't just about cutting taxes. It's about making government work better. That's why I've supported reducing unnecessary spending while helping Utah remain #1 in Fiscal Stability and maintaining the nation's top ranking for Economic Outlook for 18 consecutive years.
A Proven Record.
Conservative leadership isn't measured by promises.
It's measured by results.
